We were invited to travel to the… Continue

I could still remember vividly when I first got interested in boy scouting, first I got attracted with the uniform and thought how I will surely looked good in it. I was an observer first watching those fellow schoolmates what they were doing every time they wore their uniform. I usually see them always being in charge of raising the flag every flag ceremony, during school programs I saw them doing the parade of colors and manning the gates so we won't be able to… Continue

Playing Card Game No.1
Where to play = Anywhere where they can hurtle about, but better if there is some natural cover or places to hide.
- Young people in two or more teams, good with two large teams, Scouters who do not need oxygen can join in.
- Good for Parents evenings where dragging them through the mud might not be a good idea.
- A pack of playing cards per…

In August 1936, Baden-Powell wrote,
I fear there is the danger that a kind of synthetic Scouting
may creep into our training in place of the natural article described in 'Scouting for Boys'
By "synthetic Scouting"
I mean the Scout system obscured by over-clothing the natural form with rules and instructive literature, tending to make what originally was, and should be, an open-air game
into a science for the… Continue

Why are you scout?
The answer is simple ...
I have something to do on Saturday to find people who really worth it.
You go to camps, saying that not to go back up there and going ...
You learn something new ...
Teach something to others ...
The more kids see you as an example to follow and you have an example to follow ...
Comes from the same plate as the other, you grab from stupid and make you sleep around.
